Provision to schools under the Primary Textbook Programme 2007-2008
The table below shows the titles of the textbooks/workbooks that the Ministry of Education and Youth will provide free-of-charge to students in Grades 1-6 in all primary, all age and junior high schools under the Primary Textbook Programme 2007/2008. These materials will be delivered over August – September 2007.
The Literacy 1-2-3 readers form part of the provision of new materials aimed at supporting the literacy window in the revised primary curriculum.
The materials are being developed for Grades 1, 2 and 3 under the Primary Education Support Project (PESP) and additional readers, activity books and textbooks will be delivered to schools during the course of the 2007-2008 school year .
